How to get to the ball

On the 31st of December the New Year’s Ball will be held at “Prøvehallen” in Valby – below is shown a map and guide how to get to “Prøvehallen”  from Valby S-train & railway station. The S-trains B, C, H lines are calling at Valby and also the busses 4A, 6A etc.

General information

The doors will open at 5:45 pm and after registration you will be offered a welcome drink on the 1st floor.

At approx. 7 pm the dinner will be served on the ground floor.

If all goes according to plan, we should be heading for the dance floor on the 2nd floor at approx. 9 pm, where our DJ Michael Kongsø will heat up the music for the dancing.

At approx. 10 pm we will serve coffee, tea and homemade cakes.

At 11 pm ‘All Ready’ from South Korea will perform a show.

At midnight we will count down for the New Year and a glass of “bobbles” will be served along with Almont-cakes, which is a Danish tradition to eat when the clock strikes midnight. After a short look at fireworks, the music and dance will continue and keep on until 3 am where the ball is closing.

During the time from 9 pm – 3 am our bar will be open.

Drinks

Our bar will be open during the ball.

You will be able to purchase:

  • Different kind of soft drinks
  • Beers
  • Red/White wine
  • Spirits – Gin, Rum, Vodka, Campari mixed with soft drinks

We kindly ask you not to bring drinks from outside, but purchase at our very reasonable priced bar.

Payment

You can pay in cash (Euro or Danish kroner) and we accept VISA and MasterCard.

Dress code

There is no dress code – you can wear festive, casual etc. Whatever suits you for a New Year’s Eve, as long as you can dance in it!
